Course Description: EGR 201 (Mechanics of Solids)

Project Length: 1 week

Project Description:

This project involved was the final design challenge for the EGR 121 course. The goal of the project was to create a Rube Goldberg machine. Each team, consisting of 20 students, was responsible for their own Rube Goldberg Machinec. Furthermore, subteams of 3-4 students were responsible for creating  each subsection of 

Skills Obtained/Used:

  • Circuit Building

  • C++ Coding for Arduino

  • 3D Printing

  • Interactions and Handoffs

  • Team and subteam communication

Solution to Problem

After completing this project, I learned a lot of important lessons. .... Our subteam ran into a few challenges along the team. One of them was that we struggled to maintain a steady form of communication considering that we were all on different schedules. Additionally, we experienced a problem . However, I overcame these issues . Overall, this was a succesful project and I gained more knowledge about
